Arts Program
The Arts Program at Youth Co-nnect is a vibrant space where young people discover and develop their creative voices. From visual arts and crafts to drama and dance, participants explore multiple artistic disciplines in a supportive, expressive environment. We believe creativity is a core life skill — one that builds confidence, empathy, and cultural pride.
8 - 18 years
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Community Volunteering
Community Volunteering connects young people with causes that matter — from environmental clean-ups to tutoring younger children and supporting local NGOs. Participants develop a strong sense of civic responsibility, empathy, and the satisfaction of giving back to Lilongwe's communities. This program builds character as much as it builds community.
12 - 18 years
Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Entrepreneurship & Innovation challenges young people to think boldly, solve problems creatively, and turn ideas into action. Participants learn the fundamentals of business, design thinking, and social enterprise in a practical, mentor-supported environment. We nurture the entrepreneurial spirit that Malawi's future economy depends on.
14 - 18 years

Open Space is a dynamic, youth-led area at Youth Co-nnect where clubs, societies, and interest groups come to life. Young people are encouraged to form their own groups, pursue shared passions, and organise activities that reflect their interests and identities. It's a flexible, empowering space that puts young people in the driver's seat of their own development.

Sports & Recreation at Youth Co-nnect promotes physical wellbeing, teamwork, and a healthy, active lifestyle for young people of all ages. From football and netball to athletics and indoor games, participants enjoy structured and free-play activities in a safe, inclusive environment. Sport is a powerful tool for building discipline, resilience, and lifelong friendships.

Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM; Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
The Co-llective
The Co-llective is Youth Co-nnect's creative hub — a collaborative space where young people come together to dream, design, and build meaningful projects. Whether it's a podcast, a mural, a magazine, or a community campaign, participants are empowered to lead their own creative endeavours. It's where ideas meet action and individual talents become collective impact.
