1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms
• You agree to be bound by these Terms
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• If registering a child, you are the parent or legal guardian authorized to make decisions on their behalf

2. Our Services

Youth Co-nnect provides the following services in Lilongwe, Malawi:

Kindergarten Services

• Early childhood education for children aged 4 weeks to 6 years
• Infant care, toddler programs, playschool, preschool, and kindergarten
• After-school care and holiday programs

Youth Programs

• Tech skills bootcamps and digital literacy training
• Entrepreneurship and leadership programs
• Career readiness and job placement support
• Community events and workshops

Coworking Space

• Flexible workspace options (day passes, monthly memberships)
• Meeting room bookings
• Event space rentals

3. Enrollment & Registration

Kindergarten Enrollment

• Enrollment is subject to availability and age requirements
• Parents/guardians must complete all required forms and provide accurate information
• Medical information, including allergies and special needs, must be disclosed
• Children must be up-to-date on required vaccinations
• A non-refundable registration fee is required upon enrollment

Youth Program Registration

• Some programs have age restrictions and prerequisite requirements
• Registration is confirmed upon payment of program fees
• Participants must adhere to program schedules and attendance requirements

Coworking Membership

• Members must provide valid identification
• Memberships are non-transferable
• Guest policies apply for day pass holders

4. Fees & Payment

Payment Terms

• Fees are due on the first day of each month/term as applicable
• We accept bank transfers, Airtel Money, and TNM Mpamba
• Late payments may incur additional fees
• Returned payments will be subject to a processing fee

Refund Policy

• Registration fees are non-refundable
• Tuition refunds are prorated based on withdrawal date
• One month's written notice is required for withdrawal from kindergarten programs
• Program fees may be refunded if cancellation is made 14 days before program start
• No refunds for missed days due to illness, holidays, or personal reasons

Fee Increases

We reserve the right to adjust fees annually. Parents and members will receive at least 30 days' notice of any fee increases.

5. User Responsibilities

Parents & Guardians

• Ensure timely drop-off and pick-up of children
• Inform staff of any changes in contact information or medical conditions
• Keep children home when sick to prevent spread of illness
• Attend scheduled parent-teacher meetings
• Respect staff and other families

Youth Program Participants

• Attend sessions regularly and punctually
• Complete assigned work and participate actively
• Respect instructors, peers, and facilities
• Adhere to code of conduct

Coworking Members

• Respect shared spaces and other members
• Keep noise levels appropriate
• Clean up after using common areas
• Report any issues or damages promptly

Website Users

• Provide accurate information when submitting forms
• Do not attempt to access restricted areas of our systems
• Do not use our website for illegal purposes
• Do not transmit viruses or malicious code

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Youth Co-nnect and is protected by intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• You may use content for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution
• User-generated content (photos, testimonials) may be used by Youth Co-nnect for promotional purposes with consent

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim
• We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings
• We are not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or rules

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services:

• For violation of these Terms or our policies
• For conduct that is harmful to others or our organization
• For non-payment of fees
• For providing false information
• At our discretion with reasonable notice

Upon termination, any outstanding fees become immediately due. Refunds will be handled according to our refund policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Malawi. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malawi.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website with the "Last updated" date. By continuing to use our services after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
